We live in our paternal home. It is in Nayanpur, a place in the suburban township. It is an old two storied house with a lawn in front of it. There is a gate at the entrance. A narrow way leads one from the gate to the verandah on the ground floor. There are few beds of seasonal flowers on both sides of the way, besides the lawn.

There are three rooms on each floor, with a broad verandah on the ground floor. The balcony on the first floor faces the entrance of the house. My room is on the first floor. There is a little cot, a small writing table, and two chairs in the room. Besides the table, there is a small cupboard to store my books, pencils, pens, erasers, etc. There is also a timepiece on my table. It was presented to me on my birthday by my grandmother, when she was alive.

My bed is tidy. It is set by my loving mother every evening. The bed sheets and pillow covers are washed and ironed very often.

There are two windows in opposite directions. It helps cross ventilation of fresh air from the south. My pet dog Prince sometimes climbs the steps and takes shelter under my writing table, perhaps to give me company, when I am engaged in my studies. At about 10 P.M., I put off the light, and go to bed.

I am very happy in my home my sweet home.
